As a busy single mom with an all around athlete who was also well rounded in academics and school programs, I wanted to have all his moments to reflect back on or review over and over as often as I could and wanted.  My son has footage from his sonogram in the womb to his days now in college -- basically he has a library of all his moments from birth, birthdays, school activities, sports, awards ceremonies, proms and homecomings, graduation, getting his first and last cars, to going off to college.  I wanted other kids and parents to have that as well.

    My inspiration came during my son's high school years. I began recording their 7 on 7 football tournaments, and some of the players wanted copies of the DVD after we watched each game. Well needless to say after many times of that it became apparent that these athletes and their parents had a desire to retain their moments and watch as often as they wanted. 

    Then I began recording high school football games and putting them on DVD with captions, chapters, labeled in case and cover. This allowed parents the luxury of enjoying the actual game as well as having it to watch later as often as desired. At the end of each football season, I would create individual highlights that include an introductory photo slide show at the beginning and their stats and contact information at the end and put onto DVD for athletes preparing for college to send off to college recruiters, to take to elite sports camps and combines, as well as just for their own enjoyment and memory. 

    I also played sports and took photos of my team mates during and after our softball games and tournaments. Then I would create slide shows to some very up-beat music with chapters, kool transitions, interjected captions, closing credits, and put on DVD for our end of season party.  Everyone was amazed and thoroughly entertained, and they wanted a copy for themselves to enjoy and show family and friends!

    By putting the captured film or slide shows on DVD make it much easier for large groups to view and enjoy on big screen or regular televisions instead of having to huddle around a small computer monitor, and not to mention that it will last much longer.
